Usage

In order to let your pet enter and exit your Smart Pet Door as they please, your pet needs to have a Smart Pet Tag attached to their collar. However, you can manually open and close your Smart Pet Door via the Pawport app or directly on the top control panel if you choose to not have your pet wear the Smart Pet Tag.

The Smart Pet Tag also measures the time that your pet is inside and outside, the number of times they went outside, and for how long. It also measures general activity and sleep time.

Yes. If you have multiple pets, each Smart Pet Tag can be granted access to the same Smart Pet Door. Data for each pet’s use can also be seen in the Pawport app. Check out more information about individual pet profiles and permissions in the app.

Yes. If you have more than one Smart Pet Door in your home, your pet’s Smart Pet Tag can be granted permission to access any of your doors. Read more about pet permissions in the app.

In order to use the Smart Pet Door automatically as designed, each pet needs their own Smart Pet Tag. Otherwise, you can grant access to pets manually via the Pawport app or directly on the top control panel.

The Smart Pet Tag can be mounted to any existing collar using either the included Split Ring (to easily hang the Smart Pet Tag from your pet’s collar) or with the included Snug Mount which securely attaches the Smart Pet Tag directly against your collar. Pawport also offers the sleekest solution to mount the tag directly in-line in our Pawport Collar. Click here to see how to mount your Smart Pet Tag to your own collar.

The Smart Pet Tag weighs only 3.32oz and just slightly larger than the size of a quarter.
